Antony: St James the Great
Welcome to the parish of Antony. The church building remains closed at the moment after a building issue discovered in July 2022. However, we are part of a Benefice and you are welcome to worship with us at Sheviock or within the St Germans Group.
Not able to come to church ……………..
As Christians it is good for us to get together in worship and prayer, and this we do in our church services. But sometimes there are reasons that we cannot attend, such as illness, holiday or being housebound. In these circumstances it is still good to worship and pray on a regular basis. To help with your time with God there are morning and evening services which can be said on your own or with your family. These services contain all you need including the daily reading and can be accessed here daily.commonworship.com/daily.cgi
There also good services on the radio - e.g. radio 4 at 8:10am on a Sunday morning
Safeguarding Information:
Ensuring that children and young people as well as adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our church life. If you have any concerns about safeguarding you will find contact details listed on our Safeguarding page in the menu to the left or via the Safeguarding tab at the bottom of every page which will take you to the relevant diocesan contact details or alternatively you can contact us via the get in touch form.
