Everyone is welcome at St Mary's, the Parish Church of Sheviock and a member of the Benefice of Rame & Rivers Churches in the Anglican Diocese of Truro and county of Cornwall, England. Standing at the gateway to the Rame Peninsula since the eleventh century, this Church has served the communities within this Parish for over ten centuries.
Our shared vision across the Benefice is to Love God, Serve People and Make Disciples.
Our parish of Sheviock is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Truro’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [email protected] 07811 381 783
or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Andy Earl, Head of Safeguarding, 01872 274351.
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
