Gratitude ministry in Lent we are starting our Lent project to write thank you cards or letters to various groups and facilities in our community. Today we are starting with Two Acres care Home in Taverham. If you would like to write a message of thanks and support for the staff there, cards and paper are on the round table in St Eds. Thank you to Ben Knights for being inspired to suggest this ministry.

Wednesdays in Lent Rev Phil will be leading a Bible study linked to the Bishop’s Lent Appeal for Papua New Guinea, after the service of Holy Communion each Wednesday from 21st Feb (at 11:30am). On Wednesday evening from 21st at 5.00pm we will have a short service of Evening Prayer in church.

Alpha our next Alpha course will be starting soon. If you know of anyone who would be interested in joining, please let Rev Paul know.

Pancake Party thank you everyone who helped and supported the Pancake Party. We had a great turn – out, and raised £160.10 for Christian Aid

Gift Day thank you to everyone who supported the gift day. The Prayer Spaces and worship times have been much appreciated as we commit the challenges we have with our building to The Lord.

Mental Health First Aid Rev Phil has recently completed training as a Mental Health First Aider. Rev Phil is available if anyone would like to speak to him about their concerns for their own mental well-being.

Bishop’s Lent Appeal 2024 will help to raise money to provide water tanks for Ordinand’s Homes at Newton Theological College in P New Guinea
