Oxford Leg Pilgrimage Some pilgrims will be coming to St Peter’s Ringland on Wednesday 27th March from 3.20pm. They will be stopping for refreshments, and then making their way to St Peter’s for a rehearsal of a play they will be performing at Walsingham. Everyone is invited to come to St Peter’s from 3.30pm onwards to see the rehearsal and meet the pilgrims.

Holy Week and Easter at St Eds

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday (24th), with services at 8.00am, 9.30am and 11.15am

Maundy Thursday features the Commemoration of the last Supper at 7.30pm, followed by the all night vigil.

Good Friday includes the Churches Together service at St Ed’s at 11.00am, a 2.00pm reflection at ST Peter’s, and Mustard Tree Church at 4.00pm

Easter Day begins with the Sunrise service at 6.00pm, an 8.00am, 9.30am and 11.15am services.

Maundy Thursday Service will be at 7.30pm on 28th March, and will involve a very simple meal (soup, bread, fruit etc.) To help us with catering, please can you sign up on the sheet at the back of St Eds if you will be coming to this service. Vigil there is also a sign – up sheet at the back of church for the Vigil following the service.

Dates for your diaries!

May Fair – 6th May from 11am to 4pm. Please start collecting raffle prizes, bottles, good quality bric-a-brac and clothes. Plant Stall – beginning 25th May. If you are dividing any plants or growing seeds, please could you grow a few extra for our plant stall.

APCM date The Annual meeting for St Ed’s will be at 7.00pm on Monday 20th May in the church. Everyone is welcome as we share the highlights of the Lord’s work among us.

Electoral Roll In order to bring some order to the Electoral Roll for 2024. Please cross off your name on the list at the back of Church if you wish to remain on the Roll. If you know anything I don’t please cross off someone who is no long in the Parish or you know does not wish to remain with St Edmund’s. Jane Dryden
