Streams is an initiative from the Diocese encouraging us to share our stories of faith and the Lord’s love in our lives, and to help us to listen to one another in our life journey. We have begun to explore this in a variety of ways. At our recent Confirmation the candidates were encouraged to write their testimony and share their story in written form. It would be great if anyone would like to do this as a written piece, or even to be read in a service. Please speak to Rev Paul.
Also a group have come together to venture down to Taverham Mill and sit and share together. Again please let Rev Paul or the Churchwardens know if you would like to join a similar group.
This is something that lends itself to creative ideas. Any suggestions would be very welcome!
Deanery Synod Social – a visit to the Julian Shrine on Wednesday 8th July 6.00pm. Details from Rev Paul
Cursillo Are you interested in Cursillo? A Christian discipleship weekend held in September? Details : Rev Stella 07815 089704
Foodbank The Foodbank bin is back at St Ed’s, and donations will be taken to the Norwich foodbank each week. Further information about the Foodbank is available, including agencies that can help people out of needing Foodbanks. If you would like to place items in this these will then be available for anyone who comes into church seeking food.
If you are new…. It is great to see you today. If you are able to, please speak to a member of the ministry team. We look forward to getting to know you!
St Ed’s needs…a new Treasurer. Please pray that the Lord will call the right person for this role. (could it be you?) Further details from the Churchwardens.
