Administration of Holy Communion we have discussed arrangements at PCC for a return to the common chalice at 11.15am – where everyone receives the wafer and then drinks from the chalice at Holy Communion, but there will be an additional chalice at the altar rail for anyone who prefers to have a wafer dipped by the priest. We’ll try this on Sunday 4th October (Harvest) and would welcome feedback. We will also make arrangements at other services.
Norfolk Churches Trust Walk and Cycle Ride Thank you so much for all your support. Donations can still be made to Molly or Rev Paul. Thank you!
Shoeboxes – the leaflets have arrived! Shoebox Sunday will be 1st November.
Harvest at St Ed’s will be on Sunday 4th October. We will be supporting the Norwich Foodbank this year. Donations towards flowers to decorate the church for Harvest would be gratefully received by Margaret Miller. Thank you.
Special Harvest Lunch at St Ed’s we are hoping this year Harvest Lunch will be on a bigger scale. We would like as many people as possible to come along from St Ed’s and St Peter’s, and further afield. We will have jacket potatoes and various fillings, followed by fruit pies or crumbles, in church after the service (from 12.30pm) on 4th October. If anyone would like to make a pie or crumble, or some custard, please tell Sue B, or Sue E.
Streams If you would like to join a group, please sign the sign up sheet at the back of church. Further details about joining a group, from Rev Paul
Foodbank donations the black bin at the back of the church is for donations to the Norwich Foodbank. Gill and David Osborne are involved with the Foodbank and make regular visits. Any donations made will be passed on to the Foodbank.
If you are new…. It is great to see you today. If you are able to, please speak to a member of the ministry team. We look forward to getting to know you!
