Following the success of their Strawberry Tea, Stella’s Bible Study Group wishes to turn more of their study into action and has decided to support St Martin’s Housing Trust.

St Martins is based in Norwich and since 1972 has been transforming the lives of people in Norwich and Norfolk who have experienced homelessness, by providing temporary accommodation and enabling them to gain the skills and self-confidence they need to reach their full potential.

Here at St Ed's, we are organising a collection of toiletries, underwear and bedding for St Martin's which we hope to deliver by the end of September.

We would be delighted if members of the congregation would like to contribute to this collection. There is a box in St Ed's  where you can leave any items.

However, if you have bedding please contact Ann Coker via email on   [email protected] so the study group can arrange to collect it from you.

St Martins would appreciate:

Toiletries

Shower Gel

Shampoo

Roll on deodorant

Tooth paste

Shaving gel

NEW underwear - male and female. Ladies sizes 8/10/12 and men’s sizes medium and large

Bedding - SINGLE size only

Sheets / Pillow cases - new or second hand but in good, clean and washed condition

Duvets / Pillows - new or second hand but non feather and in good, clean and washed condition

Also something extra for Knitters to think consider.

St Martins is also looking for knitters to help with a fund raising project for their 50th Anniversary in 2022.

They are looking for people to knit very small teddies.

If you would like to know more about this knitting project please contact  Stella via email on [email protected]

Stella will provide you with the pattern.
