Sunday 3rd October 9:30am Mustard Tree Church – informal service for families and children. (at St Ed’s)

Sunday 3rd October 11.00am Special harvest service with hymns and dedication of bench in remembrance of Peter Frost (at St Peter’s)

Sunday 3rd October 11:15 am Harvest Service We are collecting for the Foodbank this year. Traditional Sunday Service, Holy Communion (at St Ed’s).

The Harvest service to be followed, at approx. 1:00pm, by a Ploughman’s Lunch in aid of the Christian Aid Haiti appeal.

Sunday 3rd October 11:15 am on-line Sunday Service (livestream).

Sunday 3rd October 6:30 pm Sunday Club (livestream)

Monday 4th October 5.00pm Monday prayers (at St Ed’s)

Tuesday 5th October 10:00 am Tiny Tunes (music for all young people) (at St Ed’s), refreshments 10am til12 noon

Wednesday 6th October 9:00 am Midweek Moments

Wednesday 6th October 10:30 am Holy Communion (at St Ed’s)

Wednesday 6th October 1:00 pm Burial of Ashes (at St Ed’s)

Thursday 7th October 7.00pm Reflection and prayer time (at St Ed’s also part of this service will be livestreamed each week.)

Friday 8th October 9:30 am to12.00 noon Arts Group , - bring anything – art or craft - you fancy doing and coffee and tea are provided. Cost £3. (at Trinity Church building)

Saturday 9th October 11.30am Wedding

Also Sunday 10th October will include normal services and 3.00pm Confirmation group.

Additionally at 8am daily (daily except Wednesday and Sunday) we will be posting a ‘Daily bitesize prayer’ on the St Ed's Facebook page

Sunday 10th October 10.00am Holy Communion

Harvest is today! (3rd). Thank you to everyone who brought flowers and helped to decorate the church for today, and for helping with the celebration.

We are collecting for the Foodbank this year, plus from 1.00 pm there will be ploughman’s lunch in aid of the Christian Aid appeal for Haiti. Please sign the sheet at the back of church if you would like to book lunch.

There is also a QR code on the poster at the back of St Ed’s – The QR code is also attached to a news item on our website pages specifically about St Ed’s support for the Christian Aid Haiti appeal.

Christian Aid have organised an important talk by Chine McDonald on Black Lives Matter and Climate Change at St Peter Mancroft Church on Wednesday 6th October at 7.30pm. No need to book – just turn up.

Shoeboxes we will be collecting these for Blythswood Care this year. The Shoebox Service will be on Sunday 31st October at 11.15am in St Ed’s. Leaflets are available in St Ed’s or visit the Blythswood website ( https://blythswood.org/shoeboxappeal/ )

Ven Martin Gray the retired Archdeacon of Norfolk will be coming to St Ed’s to preach at the 11.15am service on Sunday 17th October.

Confirmation Bishop Graham will be coming to St Ed’s for a Confirmation service on Sunday 21st November at 3pm. If anyone is interested in being Confirmed or would like to know more, please speak to Rev Paul.
