Friday 29th October 9:30 am to12.00 noon Arts Group , - bring anything – art or craft - you fancy doing and coffee and tea are provided. Cost £3. (at Trinity Church building)

Also Sunday 31st October is a fifth Sunday, the 11:15 service is our ‘shoebox service’ and 3.00pm Confirmation group.

Additionally at 8am daily (daily except Wednesday and Sunday) we will be posting a ‘Daily bitesize prayer’ on the St Ed's Facebook page

Doris’ 90th Congratulations and many happy returns to Doris, who celebrates her birthday on Monday!

Junior School Display We have a display of RE work in St Ed’s, based on ‘how the world came to be’, looking at perspectives from Christianity and other religions. The display includes some moving poems on Climate Change.

Next Sunday (31st) The shoebox service will be at 11.15am. We are collecting these for Blythswood Care. As it is a fifth Sunday the livestream team will be joining us. We will also be at St Ed’s on Wednesday 27th October from 2.00pm to put together as many shoeboxes as we can. Please leave items at the back of church, or bring them on the day.

Church Green (also known as ‘the Glebe’) – at the front of St Ed’s – will be closed for parking from next Sunday (31st) onwards as we approach the winter months to protect the surface. There are a few spaces in the church drive. Alternative parking will be on the field side of the Junior School and on the lay –by opposite the school.

7th November We will be having a Baptism during the 11.15am service of Ewan, Krissie (from RJC) and Dean’s little boy, brother to Mylie.

Remembrance Sunday is on 14th November. We will have an 8.00am service, Mustard Tree Church at 9.30am, and the later service will be outdoors at the front of church from 10.45am. (Sorry it will not be possible to park at the front of the church that morning).

Confirmation Bishop Graham will be coming to St Ed’s for a Confirmation service on Sunday 21st November at 3pm. If anyone is interested in being Confirmed or would like to know more, please speak to Rev Paul.
