Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, 22nd February. There will be services (with ashes) at St Ed’s at 10.30am and 7.00pm

Lent Bible study and lunch each Wednesday at 11.30am at St Ed’s Rev Phil will be leading a Lent Bible study entitled ‘Parable Perambulation : Travelling to the Kingdom with Matthew”. This will be followed by a simple soup lunch at 12.30pm in church

David Howard will be beginning a placement at Horsford next week. Please hold David in your prayers as he begins this time.

Sad news we were sad to hear this week of the deaths of Ann Kerry, and of David North. We pray for their families as they grieve for their loved ones.

St Edmund’s Coronation Fair Save the Date! Monday 8th May 11:00-4:00. Live Music, BBQ, Beer Tent, Competitions, games crafts &; the usual stalls around the Coronation theme. In line with King Charles wishes to celebrate and promote Volunteering we will invite local charities and groups to provide information cards/flyers on their volunteering opportunities

Hats, Gloves, scarves for the homeless We are now collecting these to be taken to the Salvation Army in the city. These can be left at the back of St Eds.
