Lent Bible study and lunch each Wednesday at 11.30am at St Ed’s Rev Phil will be leading a Lent Bible study entitled ‘Parable Perambulation : Travelling to the Kingdom with Matthew”. This will be followed by a simple soup lunch at 12.30pm in church. All welcome.

Lent foodbank during Lent any contributions to the Foodbank, including the items we distribute locally, are much appreciated. These can be left in the pew at the back of church. Thank you.

Sunday evening time for prayer and healing each Sunday evening from 6.30pm during Lent we will be holding a simple prayer time in church with Bible readings and times for personal prayer, with the opportunity for individual prayer after the service. All welcome.

St Edmund’s Electoral Roll If anyone feels that they would like to join the Electoral Roll for St Edmund’s, there are forms at the back of church

Charitable Giving the PCC will soon by deciding on which charities to support this year. If you have any suggestions please let Rev Paul or Sue Beevor know

Diary date : Open Doors Speaker Sunday 30th April Open Doors originated in the ministry of Brother Andrew who distributed Bibles to persecuted Christian communities in Eastern Europe during the 1970’s. On Sunday 30th April (a fifth Sunday) we will have a visiting speaker at the 11.15am service to tell us more about the work of Open doors today and the plight of the persecuted church. Please put the date in your diaries to come along if you can.

St Edmund’s Coronation Fair Save the Date! Monday 8th May 11:00-4:00. Live Music, BBQ, Beer Tent, Competitions, games crafts &; the usual stalls around the Coronation theme. In line with King Charles wishes to celebrate and promote Volunteering we will invite local charities and groups to provide information cards/flyers on their volunteering opportunities

Hats, Gloves, scarves for the homeless We are now collecting these to be taken to the Salvation Army in the city. These can be left at the back of St Eds.
