But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come”John 16 : 12 - 13Thought for this week‘More’ is often not a good thing. More work, more stress, more worries, certainly isn’t. People wanting more in different ways often leads to problems for themselves and others. Nations wanting more is always bad news.Yet at the end of the passages where Jesus takes His leave of the disciples before His Crucifixion, Jesus speaks of more that the disciples need to hear and grow into. Jesus addresses us when He speaks of so much more that we are called into through the work and witness of the Holy Spirit, in the Lord’s love and truth.Does this resonate with you? When we pray and spend more time praying, we want to pray more? When we read the Bible with hearts that are open to wonder and the Lord’s love, we want to know and learn more? When we see the Lord at work transforming lives and our world, we want to see, experience and grow into more of seeing the Lord and the work of the Kingdom?Trinity Sunday reminds us there is so much more with the Lord we each have to grow into. More love. Greater hope. Deeper faith. The exciting journey in Jesus we share and are called to discover together. PaulPrayer for this weekHoly God, faithful and unchanging: enlarge our minds with the knowledge of your truth, and draw us more deeply into the mystery of your love, that we may truly worship you, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AmenJust as God’s Word was sent into the world to heal and redeem, so God sends you into the world this day to be light and love, healing and hope. Go now to be light for the world! May the grace and peace of God the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer be upon you this day. Amen.St Edmund’s Taverham Registered Charity Number 1185420
