(at St Peter’s) Also Sunday 9th October: Harvest: at St Ed’s, 8am Holy Communion, 9.30am Mustard Tree, and 11.15am Holy Communion; at St Peter’s 10:30 am Harvest Holy Communion followed by refreshments (at 11:30am) Plus online 11:15am Informal Service and 6.30pm Sunday Club.

Ringland: future services/events at St Peter’s:

Saturday 8th October Domino Singers 3.00pm Autumn songs. For Christian Aid and St Peter’s Church.

Sunday 9th October 10:30 am Harvest Holy Communion followed by refreshments (at 11:30am)

Domino Singers will be at St Peter’s Saturday 8th October 3.00pm. An afternoon of Autumn songs, in support of Christian Aid and St Peter’s Church. There will be refreshments, and the planting of a tree to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II. Everyone welcome.

Harvest will take place on 9th October with Harvest services at both churches. At St Eds this will include a soup and bread lunch in church for all those who are able to stay. We are hoping that a few people will make soups for this so, If you are willing to help, please speak to Sue Beevor. Thank you!

Shoeboxes We have started organising our shoebox appeal for this year. We would really appreciate empty shoeboxes please. These can be left at the back of church. Our Shoebox service will be on 30th October. There is a list in St Eds of items that can be included.

We will be collecting Christmas Shoeboxes as part of the Blythswood appeal – see more details on their website https://blythswood.org/shoeboxappeal/

Shoebox tea we will meet in church on Wednesday 26th October from 2.00pm when you can bring boxes, wrapping paper, items to fill boxes. We will make shoeboxes together.

If you want to contribute but are unable to provide a full box - empty shoeboxes and individual items can be left in church before October 26th. These will then be put together into shoeboxes.

Remembrance Sunday is on 13th November. We will have a service in St Eds with the Taverham Band, starting at 10.45am. The service will include thoughts and prayers for Ukraine.
