The chorus and principal singers of York Opera are returning to St John's after their successful concert in March. As they continue to mark their 60th anniversary, the concert will feature famous excerpts from their grand opera triumphs over the years, including Puccini, Verdi, Bizet and Mozart. Highlights include the Hebrew Slaves chorus from Nabucco, the Habanera from Carmen, Dido's Lament from Dido and Aeneas, 'O mio babbino caro' from Gianni Schicchi and the glorious Easter Hymn from Cavelleria Rusticana. Join us for an evening of musical magnificence - a perfect introduction to opera - on Saturday 10th October at 7.30pm.Tickets are available from: https://tickets.yorkopera.co.uk/events/yorkopera/2256203 or use the QR code below
