Advent is a time of waiting - for the birth of Jesus and for us at Christ Church, waiting for the licensing of our new vicar, Revd Terry Williams. Terry will be Priest in Charge at Christ Church, Lofthouse and at St Oswald’s, Methley.His licensing service will be held at St Oswald’s on Wednesday 28th January at 7pm in a joint service for our two parishes.He will preside and preach at his first Parish Eucharist here, at Christ Church, on Sunday 1st February.We are very much looking forward to him becoming part of our community here, Methley and also in our wider Bénéfice.Please hold Revd Terry in your thoughts and prayers during this time of waiting.
