It’s that time of year again when we reflect not only on what God is doing abound us, but how we can play our part in it.With our annual meeting looming. I ask you to consider whether there is a role you could play. Whether that is churchwarden or deputy, PCC members, or as representatives to Deanery Synod. These roles aren’t just about meetings and minutes - they are about shaping the life, mission, and welcome of our church. The PCC helps guide vision and practical decision making.Churchwardens carry a particular responsibility for the care and wellbeing of the church community and building. Deanery Synod representatives connect us with the wider church. All of these roles are vital - and none are meant to be carried alone. But serving doesn’t only happen around a table. You may feel called to help in other ways: offering a warm welcome at the door, leading prayers, reading scripture, helping with refreshments, supporting events, or quietly working behind the scenes.Every act of service builds up the Body of Christ. If you’ve ever thought, “I could do that,” or even, “I’m not sure, but maybe…”—that might just be the nudge of the Spirit. Please do have a conversation with Revd Terry if you’d like to explore any of these roles or ministries. We would love to hear from you. This is our church. Let’s continue building it together.Revd Terry
