Advent is a time of waiting - for the birth of Jesus and for us at Christ Church, waiting for the licensing of our new vicar, Revd Terry Williams. 

Revd Terry will be Priest in Charge at Christ Church, Lofthouse and at St Oswald’s, Methley.

Licensing of Revd Terry Williams will be held at St Oswald’s Church, Methley on Wednesday 28th January at 7pm in a joint service for our two parishes by The Right Reverend Arun Arora.

Light refreshments will be served following the service.

He will preside and preach at his first Parish Eucharist here, at Christ Church, on Sunday 1st February.

The TLC cafe will be open as normal after the service.

We are very much looking forward to him becoming part of our community here, Methley and also in our wider Bénéfice.
