TLC Community Cafe is a ‘non for profit’ social enterprise run by Lofthouse church for the benefit of the local community. All the money raised is ploughed back into the church funds to help preserve our wonderful building and worship space for the community. Why TLC? Tender, Loving, Care?, Well, yes, you’ll always get that here. Talk, Listening, Chat…we’re in the business of making you feel at home, comfortable, cared about. TLC…Tea (and Coffee-we do GREAT coffee!). Leisurely Cakes. THAT Lofthouse coffeeshop?. We’ll let you decide.

Lofthouse Parish Church

Welcome to Christ Church, Lofthouse. We serve four distinct villages between Leeds and Wakefield - Lofthouse, Carlton, Robin Hood and Thorpe. 

We are a friendly and loving church for everyone. Our church is working to encourage transformation individually, locally and globally through a growing awareness of God’s grace.

We gather for worship each Sunday:

1st Sunday: Sung Eucharist at 9:30am

2nd Sunday: Grace Space - Service of the Word at 9:30am

3rd Sunday: Sung Eucharist at 9:30am

4th Sunday: All Together Now! - Intergenerational Worship at 9:30am

5th Sunday: Said Eucharist at 9:30am

We gather for midweek worship each Wednesday:

1st and 3rd Wednesday: Said Eucharist at 10am

2nd and 4th Wednesday: Morning Praise at 10am


TLC Community Cafe is a ‘not for profit’ social enterprise run by Lofthouse Church for the benefit of the local community. We offer a warm, friendly space for all. 

Monday: 1:30pm-3:30pm

Tuesday: 9am-1pm

Wednesday: 9am-11:30pm

Thursday: 9am-12pm

Come and join us for Tea, Coffee and Cake. 

Indoor Curling Cafe (suitable for all abilities) every Monday 1:30pm-3:30pm - No booking - £1 per player.

Board Games cafe (we have an extensive range of board games) every Thursday 9am-12pm - No booking - £1 per player.
