Oxfordshire has a rich heritage of churches of all denominations. Many of these date from Saxon and Norman times, standing as landmarks in their neighbourhoods and providing an important focus of continuity and stability in ever-changing times.

The annual 'Ride and Stride' event is a fundraiser for the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust, to which we apply when we need help with repairs and restoration for our lovely village church, and half of what we raise comes back to St Helen’s.

This year Brian Mackenzie is again kindly volunteering for a sponsored bike ride on behalf of our wonderful mediaeval church and the Oxfordshire Trust which supports churches like ours.

Sponsored bike rides on our local roads can be quite treacherous for families, but Brian is offering to do it on behalf of all of us, so please will you support him by donating on his dedicated website here?
