Parochial Church Council (PCC)
The PCC is a group of people who meet regularly during the year to:
oversee the life of the church in the community
discuss Deanery, Diocesan and general Church of England matters, giving feedback to Bishops when appropriate
manage church finances
organise fund-raising activities
Between meetings, members of the PCC liaise with parishioners as appropriate, run community events and support the Vicar in his leadership role.
The Churchwardens are responsible for the repairs, maintenance and restoration of the church. The Deanery Synod Representative communicates between the Deanery and the Parish.
The Treasurer is responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are donated from the congregation and community to run the church, to pay the "parish share", and to finance repairs.
The Restoration Officer maintains a budget for works that become necessary, and also makes grant applications as appropriate for specific items.
