We don't have a meeting in August but this year we have been asked to light a candle and read some prayers at 3pm on
9th August. This is to commemorate Mary Sumner Day and remember the 150 years since The Mother's Union was founded by her.

Mothers' Union is a global Christian movement working with people of all faiths and none to develop communities, strengthen families and advocate for change. Our members are active in 83 countries and work tirelessly to serve their communities to build a future where everyone thrives. Ending violence, ending poverty, ending injustice. We are a truly worldwide Christian movement. And a local one!

Our Scholes and Barwick Group usually meets at 7:30pm on the first Monday of the month (excluding Bank Holidays - please check the calendar for alternative dates) in St. Philip’s Church, Scholes.
