About Us

Welcome to St. Thomas' Church in Aldridge!

We are a friendly, informal and contemporary church. We aim to be continually Spirit-filled, with worship, prayer and bible-based teaching being essential elements of church life.

Discipleship & Evangelism

We have a very well-supported discipleship programme which includes Lifegroups and regularly offers courses such as the 'Freedom in Christ' Course and 'Disciple'. People really benefit from being in a Lifegroup - it helps us to grow in our faith through Bible study, worship and prayer and also provides members with a great social and support system, when people are in need of any help, for example during times of illness or hardship.

We offer two enquirers courses, namely 'Alpha' and 'Good News For You' (GNFY), for anyone looking to find out more about a personal relationship with Jesus. GNFY can be carried out in your own home, whereby two or three committed Christians will come for several weeks to go through the faith in an easy step-by-step way.

Prayer

We have a dedicated Prayer Core Group and Ministry Team who are keen to help anyone seeking prayer. They are available both on Sundays and also during the week for individual prayer ministry either at home or here at church. We have a telephone Prayer Circle for anything urgent and also a Prayer Email system whereby requests are sent out once per week to a group of people who faithfully pray.

Please contact the Church Office if you would like to know more - 01922 453942 / [email protected]. Alternatively you can click the "Inbox" from the menu .

Children & Families Work

We have great families' and children's ministries led by our experienced and passionate Children and Families Worker, Hannah and her team of experienced and committed Christians, who receive training in up-to-date material for Spirit-filled children's ministry.

On Sundays we have creche and children's groups for children up to 11 years.

Midweek we have:

- Tom's Toddlers - stay-and-play for babies and toddlers from 0 - 2.5 years.

- Footprints - stay-and-play for children aged 2.5 - school age.

Come along on a Sunday or contact our Church Office on 01922 453942 / [email protected].  Alternatively you can click the "Inbox" from the menu.  Our Team will be more than happy to help and explore your needs, so please do get in touch.
