We had a fantastic Lent get together on Friday at Moreton. 35 people from the village and the wider benefice came for coffee, cake and the chance to get to know people better. We also talked about ‘holy habits’ that help us draw nearer to God. We need to raise funds for structural repairs to our Grade I Listed Church, including the main roof, tower, and the approach wall of the Churchyard boundary.Our initial target to carry out the first stage of work is £25,000.The Church of England does not provide money for the upkeep of Churches, that burden falls on the community in the Parish.
