Greetings!

You may remember at All Saints' church for a few years we hosted the Help For Heroes Choir for some concerts. We thoroughly enjoyed having the Help for Heroes choir come along to perform when they could. Their visits were always a personal highlight of the year for me and it was always wonderful to welcome veterans and members of the community to come along as well.

Sadly the Help For Heroes Choir is no longer active, but from out of the ashes a new choir has begun, the Phoenix Veterans Choir and we are delighted that they'll be coming to All Saints’ Madeley to sing for us as their very first concert!

It is great news that we’ll be able to host the choir at the beginning of this new venture and we’re excited to help them raise funds for the work they do. Speaking to choir members from the Help For Heroes it was always wonderful to hear from them how the choir helped raise funds and awareness about the charity, but was also itself a really important part of the journey. So on the evening of the Phoenix Veterans Choir performance we’ll be having a collection to try to raise funds to feed back into the work of the choir. As it says on their poster, “Recovery Through Music”
