It has been several years since we have actually had a participant from Salt and Hopton supporting Stafford Historic Churches Trust. We had several visitors to both Hopton and Salt Churches during the morning, whilst the sun shone. Visitors dropped off in the afternoon, as the heavens opened. Thank you to everyone who sponsored Richard, the money raised will go towards Stafford Historic Churches Trust. We can now apply for a share of the money to aid our church renovation programme. SHCT gave us a grant of £2,000 towards the church roof work last year.
