On Sunday 21st September the congregation of St. James the Great were joined by Grant and Emma, their families and friends to see Donald Henry Christened by Rev'd Duncan Leake. A lovely and very personal service, written by Duncan especially for Donald, reminded us how very important each one of us is to God. This message was reinforced by the bible reading from Luke (c15, v8 - 10), and read beautifully by one of Duncan's relatives. Donald, whose sister, Rosanna, was Christened here two years ago, will remember little of this service as he slept peacefully through most of it, but I suppose does have the excuse that he is only six months old. We hope this was a very special day for a very special person. Please include Donald Henry, Grant and Emma in your prayers, that God blesses them, that the peace and love shown to them all today never ends, and that they may always be supported by the prayers of us all.
