On 8th June, four candidates gathered at All Saint’s Church Sandon for their confirmation which was conducted by Bishop Matthew. They were Gerald George of the Parish of Sandon, Edward and Grace Stone from Fradswell Parish and Freya Kirby from the Parish of Weston. They were supported by friends and family together with a congregation from across Mid Trent Benefice. Rev Vivienne Starkie who had prepared the candidates for this special day in their Christian lives was also there to assist.

It was a wonderful service and very appropriately took place at Pentecost, recalling when the disciples received the Holy Spirit.
