Mid-Trent Team Pentecost Confirmation Service

Occurring

Venue
All Saints' Anglican Church, Sandon, Staffordshire.
Address
Church Lane Sandon Stafford, ST18 0DB, United Kingdom

Bishop Matthew will be holding a Confirmation Service at All Saints’ Church, Sandon on Pentecost Sunday, 8th June. Confirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made when they were baptized. We have four candidates and hope you can join us to support them on the next step in their journey of faith.
Please pray for them:
Defend, O Lord, these your servants with your heavenly grace, that they may continue yours for ever, and daily increase in your Holy Spirit more and more until they come to your everlasting kingdom. Amen.
Pentecost marks fifty days since Easter Day and brings the Easter season to an end. It is a major feast of the Church’s year when Christians recall how God’s Holy Spirit was given to the disciples after Jesus’ ascension, empowering them to begin the work of making disciples of all nations.
We look forward to seeing you.

St. Rufin's Church, Burston, Staffordshire.

St. Rufin's is a small chapel erected in 1859. The church lies on the path of the Two Saints' Way between Lichfield and Chester, which is marked by an attractive board opposite the entrance to the chapel by the Village Pool.
There is a small parking area adjacent to the chapel.

Ours is a Mission Church in the Parish of Sandon with Burston. As such it shares the same ethos, PCC and Churchwardens as All Saints' Church, Sandon. There is a Burston Committee of the PCC which oversees the running of the Church, whilst local villagers look after the building and support its services.
