The village of Stowe by Chartley are very excited to launch their special festival Trail of Scarecrows for the third year running. Our theme is Nursery Rhymes and everyone should display their scarecrows from 8th August until 1st September 2026.
We have had a dedicated team of villagers to look after the churchyard for many years, and in that time won several awards. If you think you might be able to help us please contact John Reed.
Over 40 members and guests attended the regular monthly meeting at Stowe W.I. on Tuesday 12th May. The next monthly meeting is 7-30pm Tuesday 9th June - A Novel Life with Priscilla Masters.
