St Peter on the East Cliff, Folkestone
St Peter's is a Traditional Anglo Catholic church within the Church of England. We look to the Bishop of Richborough (The Rt. Rev'd Luke Irvine-Capel) for our Episcopal oversight.
Following a lengthy period in interregnum, we are delighted to announce that our new parish priest will be the Rt Rev'd Fr Martin Warner, SSC who is due to be licensed on 7th July.
Until then, our services will continue with 10.30 Solemn Mass on Sundays and Angelus and Prayers at midday on Thursday.
We are extremely grateful for the ongoing assistance from Fr Peter Harnden SSC and Fr Richard Bolton SSC who celebrate Mass at St Peter' on Sundays.
Refreshments are available after the Sunday Mass and before the midday service on Thursdays. A warm welcome to everyone!

Safeguarding
"Our parish of Folkestone: St Peter is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Mrs. Stella Hendy] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (Fiona Coombes, 07548 232395, [email protected]). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
