Parish Eucharist for the Festival of Creation in Christ

The Church of England has recently approved this ecumenical festival for the first Sunday of September, as part of a s Season of Creation that runs from this date to the Feast of St Francis on 4th October. The Festival is an opportunity for Christians to give thanks for God’s creation and redemption of the world, reflect on humanity’s responsibility to care for the natural world and pray for its renewal.
