Saying goodbye to those we love is never easy, and it is our privilege to be there for people on that journey. I see this time not only as a time of loss but also as an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate the life of the loved one who has passed away.
Where possible, services can be held at any of the local cemeteries or crematoria, or you can organise your funeral at Holy Cross Church. Every funeral service is individually planned to meet the needs of the family and to best commemorate your loved one.
Holy Cross is a lovely venue for a funeral; it comfortably seats 100 but does not feel too large or intimidating. We can also arrange for an organist to play during the service, or we can download the song choices you select.
If you wish to hold a funeral at Holy Cross Church, you can ask your Funeral Director to get in touch, or you may use the contact details on the Get in Touch page to make contact yourself.
It is not always easy to talk to our loved ones about what we would want for our funeral; often family members are a bit unsure when it comes to funeral planning, so having a written plan can be a very helpful starting point. Please get in touch if you would like support with this.
