Church of England Diocese of Chichester Westhampnett

St Peter's, Westhampnett

St Peter's is a beautiful medieval church in the village of Westhampnett to the east of Chichester.

We remain open daily for private prayer, and our Sunday services continue with careful Covid-safe measures in place.

Message from the Vicar

We are delighted to be able to keep St Peter's open. If you have a moment, do go in. There is a Prayer Requests Book on the table by the font - if you have a prayer request please write it in the book and we will offer it at our weekly services. There is also the opportunity to light a candle.

Please take sensible precautions: observe social distancing if there is anyone else in the Church when you visit.

Hand sanitizer is available on the table - do use it.

We will be taking a staged and cautious approach to the lifting of restrictions and there are some things, such as social distancing and mask wearing that we will seek to retain. (Further Guidance Notes which set out the details of our approach are available on the News & Notices page.)

From Sunday 25 July, with great joy, we will be singing again during our Parish Eucharist services at 9.45am on Sundays! Full details of all our services and events are on the Services & Events page.

Do come and join us.

Every blessing

Rachel
