In addition to the regular congregation, villagers, and representatives of civic and community groups attended church for a Platinum Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving, followed by teas, coffee - and cake! Bible readings were given by Cllr Ashiedu Joel, City Councillor; Cllr Brenda Seaton CC, Parish, Borough, and County Councillor; and Mr Jack Palmer.
