(31st May) Please send a picture of yourself, or a small video clip of you sharing the peace using sign language, to Emma via music@allsaintsloughborough.org.uk it would be great to see as many faces as possible from our All Saints church family. Our choirs are working on some special pieces too for our Pentecost celebration so stay tuned...!!SUNDAY SOCIALYou can drop in between 11 and 12 tomorrow via Zoom to say hello. Revd. Emily will be hosting the refreshments hour this week. Contact us for log on details.VOCATIONSYou may be aware that over the last few years Chris Knight and Phillippa Taylor have been exploring a calling towards ordained ministry and have been preparing to go to what is called a Bishop's Advisory Panel (BAP) for the final stage of that discernment process. Under normal circumstances this would be a residential gathering over three days however this will now be conducted over online video conference calls this week. Please pray for them as they attend their BAP online and for those doing the interviews that through it all the Holy Spirit would guide Phillippa and Chris in their next steps.INCLUSIVE CHURCHOur friends at St Nicholas Church have put together a beautiful reflection for IDAHoBiT (International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia) which you can view at the link below. Please view and share it far and wide. The theme for IDAHoBIT this year is #BreaktheSilence. As a church community we have been flying the rainbow flag for the full inclusion of LGBT+ folk for a while now so let's ensure that while we're in lockdown that message is still shared. If you would like to attend Sparkle a zoom gathering on Monday 18th May with other LGBT+ Christians and friends from across the diocese please contact: stnicholaschurchleicester@gmail.comhttps://youtu.be/kdKg0JFuL4MECO CHURCHLast Sunday a number of people joined Revd Emily to follow up our Lent theme of Care for God's Creation. There was a fantastic buzz of conversation with lots of energy for ideas of how we might become an Eco Church and work in partnership with our local community to help us all tread lightly upon the earth. As part of this Emily is going to be leading a course newly written from the Green Christian movement called Radical Presence, an opportunity to reflect with others on what the current Covid-19 pandemic is teaching us. Will our civilisation get back to normal? Or was normal already finished? What kind of community are we learning to be? What kind of work really matters? When confinement is over, how do we want to emerge? If you would like to join in the first session is Monday 18th. Contact curateemily@allsaintsloughborough.org.uk to find out more and book a place.PRAYER PARTNERSWe now have our Prayer Partner scheme up and running where those who wish are given the name of one other person in our church community to pray for regularly during this crisis. Revd Mark has done a fantastic job of linking people together and has provided some resources to help people have a go at praying. If you would like to be part of the scheme please get in touch with Mark who will be pleased to get your paired up with someone. curatemark@allsaintsloughborough.org.ukFAITH RESOURCESI have been greatly encouraged by the response to the Ministers Muse which has been broadcast on Tuesdays as part of my own preaching preparation. It has been good to engage with the scriptures alongside other people. The next one of these will be on 26th May at 12 noon. Meanwhile our Diocesan Communications team are producing some excellent videos and podcasts to help us all reflect on our faith. The link for the podcasts is below, a new one is released every Thursday and this week you may hear a familiar voice on the theme of the Eucharist...https://re-thinking-aloud.simplecast.com/?fbclid=IwAR1AYsSZGlbqQbHRVnjY-wcHpdbeTofQuMFm6Wcy-J0ZCN0FQBEKxOC3GsITHANKYOUI am having next week as a holiday so will be logging off after morning prayer tomorrow morning (although I will be watching our Sunday services and joining in as usual singing from my sofa!) So before I log off for the week I wanted to say thank you to all those who have already responded to our Easter Gift appeal since my message this morning. Not just for the financial donations but for the words of encouragement that have been shared. There is still much for us to reflect on about how best to be the church at this present time and I am grateful for all the ways in which people are supporting one another and helping us to continue being the living body of Christ. And lastly it's still Easter so.....Alleluia! Christ is Risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia!Reverend Wendy DalrympleRector of All Saints with Holy Trinity 01509 268362

Attached is a picture of some of the stones he has been painting in memory of his friends.DEMENTIA SUPPORTBefore lockdown began, which seems another lifetime ago now, a number of us had a training morning with the Alzheimer's Society and became Dementia Friends. As part of that we looked at ways we could support those caring for a loved one with Dementia and an initial Saturday morning drop-in was trialled organised by Ann Barsby. Ann is keen to ensure that we continue to support one another during this time of isolation so would happily be in touch with anyone who might just like to pick up the phone and know that someone is willing to listen. You can contact Ann directly on ann.barsby@talktalk.net and she will be pleased to hear from you. Also attached to this email is a poster with details of support in the area.SUNDAY WORSHIPJoin us again tomorrow from 9.30am on our Youtube Chanel for Little Saints and then our Communion service at 10.00am and at 6pm for a live streamed Evening Prayer picking up the theme of the VE Day commemorations.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNymtzHV8G_EfZprXch9RIgA time to say hello to one another and catch up on the week is available on Zoom from 11.00am for an hour. I shall be writing to you with further details about church finances in the coming few days but for now here is the link for out Easter Gift Campaign. I am willing to take on a sponsored challenge myself as part of this campaign and will let you know when I have worked out what that might be!https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/AllSaintsEasterGift?invite=trueCHANGES TO LOCKDOWNWith you I am longing for the time when restrictions are eased and we can open our church building and gather again. However, it is imperative that we don't get complacent about the virus and that we make all our decisions based on protecting the whole of our community particularly the most vulnerable. I will of course update you as soon as anything changes and will be working with the wardens, PCC and ministry team on how we can safely reopen as and when the advice allows for this. For now our building remains closed but we the living stones of the church continue to be built up into a spiritual house and we look forward to that day when we will meet again.....https://youtu.be/fWWuhLJcmm4Yours in ChristReverend Wendy DalrympleRector of All Saints with Holy Trinity 01509 268362
