A reflective service with hymns, readings, prayers, communion, and a short homily, finishing with 'stripping of the altars' when we remove all the furnishings in the sanctuary to symbolise the events of the early hours of the first Good Friday

Our annual Good Friday community walk starting at St Andrew's Gargrave at 9am and calling for coffee at the Airton Friend's Meeting House, lunch at Kirkby Malham (bring your own pack-up to eat at St Michael's or have lunch at the Vic), and an afternoon cuppa at Coniston Cold village hall before returning to Gargrave around 5pm. We celebrate our risen Lord in this special service of Holy Communion for Easter Day with some great hymns and an Easter Egg hunt after the service for children who have joined us for worship this morning
