Christmas is fast approaching and Dave and Di Harrold are once again organising Carol Singing for Cancer Research UK. We will sing around the village on Monday 22nd December from 7.00 pm till 9.00 pm, meeting at All Saints Church Hall at 6.45 pm. It is always a very jolly occasion and we are made very welcome as we sing in the beautiful festively decorated streets of Sapcote. Please come and join us-either to sing or to collect. Reflection of the week:

My breakfast this morning will consist of raspberries from Mexico, strawberries from Spain and blueberries from Peru! How ridiculous is that. We have become to used to eating all these unseasonal foods that we have nothing to look forward to in terms of edible treats. We can freeze it, chill it , can it, vacuum pack it and send stuff all over the world in hours.

Creator God, whilst we enjoy the abundance of your provision, help us to remember that peace, joy, rest, wisdom, and supportive relationships will satisfy our hearts and souls in a much more fulfilling way.
