About Us

The Ascension Church is a happy, welcoming church in the beautiful area of Blackheath.  Our faith in the good news of Jesus is lived in our commitment to social justice and human rights.  We are proud to be signed up members of Inclusive Church and we offer a truly open welcome to all.  

Our worship uses inclusive language based on Common Worship.  Our Sunday morning worship is a family-friendly Holy Communion service. 

Once a month our excellent adult choir joins us to sing an introit and anthem.  Please see the church website for full details.
