A service of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer

St Mary's Chalgrove is an ecumenically-welcoming church. On the second Sunday of the month, the local Methodist Circuit take the 9.30am service. The service is a modern-language Methodist Worship Book Eucharist, with hymns and a sermon. All are warmly welcome.
(For the purposes of the provision of Anglican services on second Sundays, the 11am Prayerbook communion at St Helen's Berrick Salome is designated as a benefice service).

In December, we make Christingles at our Messy Church service, and then we hear the Christmas story in a Nativity play performed by the children. Come along and hear the best news ever!

Christmas always seems to be accompanied by jolly songs, ringing tills and the expectation that you will have a good time. But that’s not how it feels for many people. Maybe your year has been hard—and Christmas seems to highlight this.
In this service, you are invited to reflect on the challenges you face, the pain or the sadness you may feel and offer it to God for healing and transformation.
Whatever the reason, whatever the need, you are welcome here. We hope that you will find the space and hope which the Christmas story offers. We pray that you will find comfort in knowing you are not alone. Understand that God knows your pain and the burdens you carry and loves you unconditionally.

A sung modern-language Eucharist using Common Worship, with hymns, an easy to sing seasonal setting, and a sermon. Choir, if available. Children warmly welcome.

An activity-based service, with Bible story, songs, simple prayers, and tasty refreshments to finish.

A service of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer

We live in a busy world; it is our prayer that this act of worship may both glorify God and provide an opportunity for you to enter into his rest. The service follows the Book of Common Prayer order for Evening Prayer, with choir, and sermon. Refreshments, usually fizz and nibbles, follow. All are welcome. The venue alternates between St Mary's Chalgrove (April, October) and St Helen's Berrick Salome (January, July).
