St Margaret's Barking

St Margaret’s Barking is a wonderful historic church. It stands on the site of Barking Abbey, one of the most ancient Christian sites in the country, where people have prayed for over 1,300 years. Today it is home to a vibrant multi-cultural Christian community.

We join in worship at 8:30am & 11am every Sunday morning.
We share Holy Communion at 12:30pm every Thursday.
We say Morning Prayer on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:30am
and Night Prayer at 8pm every Tuesday on Zoom.

Our café is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10am to 3pm.

Whoever you are, wherever you are from and whatever place you find yourself on your journey of faith; you are welcome here.
