Donations for the Christmas Market - We would really appreciate items for the Christmas hamper , cakes for the Christmas Coffee Shop, unwanted gifts or unused items for ‘Pete’s Presents’ stall, and good condition toys and children’s books for the toy stall (no other books please). See our Christmas Market entry on the Services and events page for more details of what we'd like to include in the hamper.

Fundraising meeting: Our Fundraising Team is meeting on Thursday 6th November at 7.30pm in the Prayer Room, when we will be planning the Christmas Market in fine detail! Anyone is welcome to get involved.

Raffle prizes: We would really appreciate any raffle prizes you can donate for our fundraising events all year round.

Poppies: Please keep knitting, crocheting and sewing poppies so we can reach our target for Remembrance Sunday - we need lots more to make a display from the tower! You can even cut out poppies and glue them, they are very simple, our Junior Church children have been making them. Patterns are available from church/the church office. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: on Wednesday 29th October, in the church at 7.30pm, we will be preparing the poppies to be fixed to the tower for Remembrance Sunday. Please come and join us.

Christmas raffle: tickets are now on sale at £1 each.

Table Tennis: Fancy a bit of informal Ping Pong fun? Then come along to the church hall on a Wednesday evening from 7.15 to 8.45pm. All ages, all standards, friendly, informal, fun activity. Cheaper than chips at £1 per session for those age 16 or over. Under 16’s free but must be accompanied first time. Ask Graham on Tech Team for info or call the church office on 020 8597 8076.

Flowers in church: If you would appreciate flowers in church in memory of a loved one, or for any special occasion, please contact the office to arrange (020 8597 8076). A pedestal in the front entrance of the church with a note of dedication will cost £30.

Fantasy Football: Here is the link for the Fantasy Premier League , open to anyone who fancies themselves as a football manager and can beat everybody else at St. Chad’s. £30 dinner voucher for the winner.

Christmas Shoeboxes: For our shoeboxes in November. we are collecting anything at all that can go in a shoebox! If you could add just one item to your shopping trolley, it would be very appreciated. Soaps, toothpaste, colouring pencils, pads, sweets, hat, scarves, gloves, teddies or small toys are all very much appreciated!

Foodbank donations: Please support the food bank if you can, with any non-perishable foods, toiletries and baby items, including nappies of all sizes. Donations can be brought to the church office on weekdays (except Thursday) between 10am and 12 noon, or to church on a Sunday.

Easyfundraising: raise funds for St. Chads just by shopping with over 7,000 shops and businesses here . As a welcome bonus, they will pay us £1 for every 10 people who join, so even if you don't think you will shop through them, please sign up anyway!
