Advent Service of Light

for 1 hour
Ingatestone: St Edmund & St Mary
High Street Ingatestone, CM4 9DN, United Kingdom

Join us as we step into the peaceful and expectant season of Advent with our beautiful Candlelight Service.

This special, family-friendly service will begin with a gentle procession of children bringing candles into the church, symbolising the light of Christ coming into the world. As we gather to sing, pray, and reflect on the hope of the Advent season, the service will beautifully conclude with the lighting of candles, filling the church with a warm and peaceful glow.

All are warmly welcome to attend. Following the service, please stay and join us for seasonal refreshments and fellowship.

Safeguarding

Our parish of St Mary Fryerning is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Mrs Sarah McKay [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor duty number 01245 29 44 44. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
