Said Morning Prayer
Every Sunday at 11 a.m. for 25m
St Andrew's Church Heybridge Street Heybridge, Maldon, Essex
We are beginning public worship in our church buildings again - we have filled out all the risk assessments and it shall be as safe as we can make it; but we have a renewed hope that meeting together in worship can change our hearts and the world around us to God's greater glory.
It'll be socially distanced, and a shorter service than normal. We'll be following the government guidelines for cleaning and sadly, there will be no singing or votive candles. Nevertheless, speaking to people, there is a renewed expectancy that God will be present with us in a new way as we grieve what we have lost, give thanks for what we still have to hold and wait in faith for what comes next.
If you are thinking of coming for the first time, please do be in touch so that we can manage numbers appropriately and - in addition to your sense of adventure - do bring your own bible. That will help the service flow more safely, without service sheets.
Throughout this period of restriction and anxiety, our worshipping community is faithfully praying this service every day. Please do join in by downloading the attached file and praying with us at your leisure. May we find the truth in God's promise that He will never leave us or forsake us.
