MOOD PORTRAITS BY PHILIP GROOM
I am delighted to be exhibiting my paintings at St Augustine's during this period of Lent.
The larger ones were painted last year, during the period I was diagnosed and treated for cancer, (rather brilliantly at Guy's). They convey different moods, and I have called them Mood Portraits. They arrived fairly spontaneously. The smaller paintings come from a series I made some time ago for a Good Friday meditation, The Way of The Cross.
It is my earnest hope that you find something of interest somewhere in them.
