The Community Hub takes place during the Community Coffee Morning on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.
It serves as an accessible, local space where people from the local community can meet, connect, and access services that address their social, economic, and personal needs. Those services present include Live Well Being and Havering SEND Family Voice.
For more information please speak to Julian.

Our services in the church are on a Sunday morning. They start at 10.30am, and usually finish around 11.45am. All services are Holy Communion services except on the 2nd Sunday of the month when it is a Family/Parade service.

Regrettably, we do not have a Sunday School for the children at this time but we do produce simple worksheets for the children which they can complete during the service.

Please contact Julian on 07860119450 or email [email protected] for more details.

The Silver Darlings are from Southend-on-Sea in Essex. They perform around the UK and Europe, giving high-octane, rip-roaring renditions of shanties with harmonies galore! So, on Saturday, 24th October, batten down the hatches and get ready to haul away at Holy Cross Church because they are coming to us for a special performance in the evening. Life at sea will never be the same again!
For more information please email Iain Stanford on [email protected]

Every 2nd Sunday of the month we hold a Family/Parade service in the church at 10.30am. It usually lasts around 45 minutes. It is not a Holy Communion service. During the service we usually have a lot of congregational participation such as the children taking part and answering questions during the talk, and everyone signing some of the songs we use. Everyone is welcome to join, both young and old.

They are coming to Holy Cross Church for their Christmas Concert on Saturday, 28th November, starting at 4pm until 6pm.
All are welcome.

This non-communion service will include those present being invited to bring forward a Christmas gift for families who live within Havering who will struggle to provide their children with Christmas gifts. Everyone will also get involved with decorating our huge Christmas Tree!
All welcome.

Focused more towards adults, this gentle and relaxed Christmas service will include readings from the Bible and a variety of carols.

Combining these two services, all present will share in observing the children placing all the special figures in the Christmas Crib, and everyone walking around the church holding their lit Christingles (oranges). The service will also include lots of Christmas carols. All welcome, young and old.

This service will be a Holy Communion service, celebrating the joy of the birth of Jesus. All welcome.

A simple Holy Communion service to see the New Year in, followed by some refreshments.
