Worship at St Margaret's is structured around the Eucharist (Holy Communion), the Daily Office (Morning/Evening Prayer), and encouraging private devotion.

The Sung Eucharist on a Sunday morning is the principal service of the week, featuring reverent ceremonial in the Anglican tradition with congregational singing, a sermon and prayers. The service is centred on the Scriptures and celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion, through which we receive the grace necessary to live a life pleasing to God. You will hear lots of music, smell a little incense in the air, and see traditional vestments associated with 'High Church' tradition. The service lasts approximately 70 minutes and afterwards everyone is invited to stay for refreshments in church. 

Evening Prayer is said on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This is the simplest service at St Margaret's, encouraging the saying of the Daily Office in private as well as public worship. It features a chant, short readings from scripture, and a time of quiet prayer for reflection at the end of the day. The service lasts approximately 25 minutes.

Candlelight Communion is a contemplative monthly service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer, focusing on the words of Scripture, prayers, and the Sacrament. It is distinguished by its use of an older and beautiful form of liturgical English (think 'thee', 'thou', 'thine'). A sermon is preached, often as part of a series of a specific theme. The service lasts approximately 45 minutes and afterwards everyone is invited to stay for refreshments in church.

There are additional services at significant times of the Christian year, such as Christmas and Easter, including Matins (Morning Prayer), Compline (Night Prayer), Carol Services, and special Festal Eucharists.
