At today's beautiful service at St Edward's Church Romford, we welcomed the family of Peter Medcraft. Peter was a dedicated Sacristan and Head Server for 40 years. 

The new Easter Candle stand is a gift to the church from Margaret in memory of her husband Peter. Today as you can see the candle stand was blessed by Ven Mike Power, Archdeacon of Southend and former vicar to St Edward's Church, Romford. It was lovely to welcome Father Mike back home. 

Thank you to Margaret for the beautiful gift. We remember Peter fondly, and this is permanent reminder to the congregation, of all his wonderful work for St Edward's Church.
