On Saturday, St. Edward's held a ceremony to plant three cherry trees given to by the Sakura Project, a friendship initiative of the Japanese Embassy. Our administrator Angela made a custom celebration cake and Japanese soprano Miku Yasukawa performed a new piece by our director of music Erik based on haikus about cherry blossoms.
