We are very excited to announce that our fabulous Jenny has won the London Borough of Havering, Mayor's Civic Award. This was awarded for "meritorious service to the Community". As everyone knows the amazing Jenny has been supporting St Edward's Church and the wider community for many years - particularly in founding and running the Playgroup. Well done Jenny - we are so proud of you! Many many congratulations.
We were proud to celebrate the achievements of our Choir Members today at St Edward's Church. Many congratulations to Malakai, Matthias and Sophia - who all achieved their long service awards today at church. They also entertained the congregation with some amazing singing! We are so proud of you all. Well done!
Last weekend our famous St Edward's Quiz took place at the Church. It was really well supported by the community, with an amazing afternoon tea mid way through. Although we were claiming it a "fix" when Father David's team won, but on the more positive side, we raised over £1000 for the Church roof! Thank you everyone who supported us.
