Yesterday, alongside our friends at St Peter & St Paul Church, Swanscombe, we said our final farewell to Revd Charlie Lloyd-Evans and Gareth Lloyd-Evans.Over the past five and a half years, Charlie and Gareth have touched so many lives and made a lasting difference to both of our church communities. Their love, faith, friendship, and dedication have been a true blessing, and they will be deeply missed.While there were tears as we said goodbye, our hearts are full of gratitude for all they have shared with us. We send them on their way with our love, prayers, and every blessing as they begin this new chapter of ministry to which God has called them in Hughenden, Buckinghamshire.May God go before them, guide them, and bless them abundantly in all that lies ahead. Thank you, Charlie and Gareth—you will always be part of our church family. 💙🙏
Revd Charlie Lloyd Evans has been the Priest-in-Charge of St Mary, Greenhithe and St Peter and St Paul Swanscombe for the past five and half years, but the time has come when God has called her on to new pastures in Buckinghamshire.Her final service with us will be the 12th July at St Mary Greenhithe - a joint churches service of Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome to come and join us.This will be followed by a BBQ, a time to share together and say our goodbyes to Revd Charlie, Gareth and the family.
